Srilanka floats on the Indian Ocean separated from India by Park Strait. The inland county is painted perfectly by the almighty. The poster places of Srilanka are worth visiting at least once in a life span.

Worshiping the beast is common as it is believed to be the incarnation of Lord Ganesha.
Kandy, the city centre of Srilanka is a world heritage center. Kandy Perahara, a huge cultural event takes place in the month of July or August. It’s a grand celebration of parades accompanied by drummers and dancers. Elephants are beautifully embodied with silk and the largest tusker carry the sacred tooth relic of Buddha to the “temple of tooth” also known Dalda Maligawa. The view from the hill top is splendid. The view of the heritage city takes our breath away.
Nuwara Eliya as known as “Little England” is a city of light. Mt. Piduratalagala, the highest peak of Sri Lanka overlooks to the city of light. Nuwara Eliya is also the tea producing region of Srilanka. Trekkers get an exclusive experience travelling through the Horton Plains. If lucky they can also get a glance of the leopard or sambhar. Tourists can also take a walk to the Hakgala Botanical Gardens to catch a glimpse of roses and ferns.
Sigiriya the rock garden of Srilanka is another tourist destination. Sigiriya also known as the lion rock is a heritage site. The rock sculptures are older than Christ himself. When we go up to the lion gate we are stunned by the exquisite beauty of the town.
Srilanka package is incomplete without a beach vacation. The island surrounded by the Indian Ocean is a home of fine beaches. Tourists are provided with diversity of recreational facilities like swimming, fishing, scuba diving and even underwater photography.
